Safe And Precise Root Canal Treatment
Becht PermaEvolution has been developed to reliably seal root canals. Its high adhesion to dentine ensures a tight fit against the canal walls, whilst the working time of around 15 minutes provides sufficient flexibility for controlled placement. This enables a uniform, reproducible filling even in cases with complex anatomy.
Biocompatible Formulation Free From Iodoform or Paraformaldehyde
The material is free from iodoform and paraformaldehyde and is therefore particularly gentle on tissue. Its biocompatible composition minimises the risk of post-operative reactions. Full setting after 24 hours creates a stable, permanent seal in the root canal – the foundation for the long-term preservation of tooth structure.
High Radiopacity And Easy to Check
The high radiopacity of Becht PermaEvolution facilitates visual monitoring of the filling process and enables a reliable assessment of the treatment outcome. This ensures that dentists retain full control over the obturated canal at all times.
Suitable For All Orthograde Root Canal Filling Techniques
Whether using single-cone, lateral or warm-fill techniques, PermaEvolution can be used with all standard orthograde filling methods. Thanks to its dimensionally stable setting, the fit is maintained, whilst the material’s flexibility allows for easy adaptation to individual treatment preferences. If necessary, straightforward retreatment is also possible.

Frequently Asked Questions About Root Canal Filling Materials
Which root canal filling material is suitable for the single-cone technique?
For the single-cone technique, a sealer is required that:
- spreads easily,
- is simple to apply
- and ensures a secure, tight seal.
Perma Evolution is ideal for this purpose, as it reliably seals the root canal and integrates perfectly with single-cone obturation.
Which root canal filling material is suitable for warm obturation?
For warm obturation, it is important to use a sealer that provides a reliable seal and remains controllable even during thermoplastic procedures.
Perma Evolution is ideally suited for warm obturation, as it, in combination with gutta-percha, supports a stable, secure seal all the way to the root tip and can be used in warm obturation techniques.
How can you tell if a root canal filling material is good?
A good root canal filling material stands out above all for:
- high seal integrity (bacteria-tight seal)
- good radiopacity
- reliable handling in everyday clinical practice
- consistent setting time and stable hardening
What materials are used for a root canal filling?
A root canal filling typically involves a combination of gutta-percha and a root canal sealer. Gutta-percha acts as a filling material, whilst the sealer creates a bacteria-proof seal in the root canal and reliably fills in any small irregularities.
Perma Evolution is suitable for all orthograde techniques and ensures a secure, tight seal regardless of the method chosen.
