Pink guttapercha points for permanent filling of root canals after preparation and drying. Standardized according to ISO 15–40 with a taper of 0.06 mm per millimeter. Their conical shape with a total length of 28 mm facilitates precise insertion to the working length. Thanks to their smooth, lint-free surface, the points glide gently along the tissue and enable a secure and tight fit to the canal walls, ensuring that the root canal is reliably and permanently sealed.

Use case

Guttapercha points are used in endodontics as a material for permanent obturation of root canals. They are usually used in combination with a sealer to seal the root canal tightly and support the long-term success of the treatment.

Application

After preparing and drying the root canal, a precisely fitting filling is inserted during obturation. Together with a suitable sealer, the guttapercha points ensure a tight seal of the root canal and provide a reliable basis for long-term preservation of the tooth. Thanks to the sizes being sorted according to ISO standards, the appropriate thickness can be selected specifically.
