The narrow brushe with nettle insert and Chungking bristles from Becht pro medix is a robust polishing tool for the mechanical pre-polishing of plastic materials such as denture bases, splints or plastic superstructures in dental practices and dental laboratories. The combination of sturdy Chungking bristles and a reinforcing nettle insert ensures a particularly consistent brush shape, long service life and uniform polishing performance. The brushes allow you to effortlessly remove grinding marks, surface roughness and machining marks without subjecting the workpiece to thermal stress.

Use case

The Becht pro medix narrow brush with nettle insert and Chungking bristles is designed for pre-polishing plastic and denture surfaces. It is used to remove uneven structures, scratches and grinding marks after rough processing and to achieve an even matt surface. The nettle insert stabilises the brush and enables precise polishing with consistent dimensional stability, even during prolonged use.

Application

The narrow horsehair brush is mounted on a mandrel and clamped into a hand-held or table-mounted motor with a suitable clamping system. At a recommended speed of 2,800 rpm, the plastic surface is treated with even, light pressure to smooth the surface and prepare it for subsequent fine finishing.
