Bechtol Premium Concentrate is used for disinfecting and cleaning reusable surgical and rotary instruments in medical settings.

Before using for the first time, remove any residues of other disinfectants from the instrument tray. To prepare a 1% working solution, pour 990 ml of tap water into the tray, then mix with 10 ml of Bechtol Premium Concentrate. With regard to water quality, the guideline for the validation of manual cleaning and manual chemical disinfection of medical devices (Bundesgesundheitsblatt 10/2012) must be observed. Recommended water quality < 8.4° dH. The 1 litre container can be used for dosing the concentrate. Clean heavily soiled instruments first with warm water and a soft brush. Place used instruments in the solution and cover with the lid. Wet completely. Avoid bubble formation. Observe minimum exposure times. Then remove, rinse four times under clear, running water and dry with a clean cloth.

Before use in an ultrasonic bath: place the lid on the instrument tray. Only remove the lid after cleaning and cooling. Replace the used solution daily (RKI guidelines). Replace the solution immediately if it is visibly dirty. Observe the instrument manufacturer's restrictions on use. Sterilise in accordance with RKI guidelines. Product not suitable for use with nerve needles.

Avoid inhaling dust/fumes/gas/mist/vapour/spray.

Wear protective gloves/protective clothing/eye protection/face protection.

Wash hands thoroughly after use.

Do not eat, drink or smoke when using this product.

Avoid creating aerosols.

IF ON SKIN (or hair): Take off immediately all contaminated clothing. Rinse skin with water/shower. Wash contaminated clothing before reuse.

IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing.

IF SWALLOWED: Rinse mouth. Do NOT induce vomiting. Immediately call a POISON CENTRE or doctor.

Do not breathe vapour or aerosol.

IF INHALED: Remove to fresh air and keep at rest in a position comfortable for breathing.

Store product only in original container and keep closed.

Do not store together with acids.

Store at room temperature.

Store in a dry place.

Keep out of the reach of children.

Avoid release into the environment.

Absorb spilled quantities.

The batch number (LOT) should be specified in every process that requires identification of the product.

Dispose of in accordance with official regulations.
