Latex-free prophylactic polisher with soft hardness and flexible lamellae for removing plaque and gentle polishing, especially near the sulcus to protect soft tissue. A splash guard on the shoulder of the polisher prevents polishing paste from entering the contra-angle handpiece. Latex-free polishers are characterized by a particularly durable material with a low coefficient of friction, which means that there is only minimal heating of the tooth.

Use case

Latex-free prophylactic polishers with a soft hardness rating are used in combination with a suitable prophylaxis paste for the gentle removal of plaque and discoloration, as well as for the final polishing of enamel surfaces as part of professional teeth cleaning. Due to the soft material, our blue prophylactic polishers are particularly suitable for treating sensitive areas such as the sulcus region.

Application

Prophylactic polishers are mounted on a dental handpiece and used with a prophylaxis paste. After applying the paste to the cup or directly to the tooth, the dental contra-angle handpiece is set in a rotating motion and placed on the tooth to be cleaned.
