Scotch-Brite polishing brush made of aluminium oxide for effective pre-polishing of plastics

6 pcs.

Available in different variants.

The coarse Scotch-Brite polishing brush from Becht pro medix is a powerful tool for the mechanical pre-polishing of plastic materials in practices and laboratories. The open-pored non-woven material with embedded aluminium oxide abrasive ensures uniform removal performance and prevents clogging of the surface. It is ideal for removing scratches, roughness or residues on denture bases and other plastic work. Thanks to its stable structure, the disc retains its shape and enables safe, low-vibration working.

Aluminium oxide, coarse, Ø 25 mm

The Scotch-Brite polishing brush from Becht pro medix is designed for use in the pre-polishing of plastic materials – especially prosthetic bases, splints or temporary restorations. It is used to prepare the surface before fine polishing and enables uniform, controlled material removal without damaging the workpiece.

The Scotch-Brite polishing brush is placed on a mandrel and clamped into a hand or micro motor. At a speed of 1,400 to 10,000 rpm, the plastic surface is treated with even, light pressure and overlapping movements until a smooth, even surface is achieved. Avoid applying too much pressure to prevent material overheating or uneven removal.

  • Coarse grain for effective polishing
