Our soft muslin polishing buffer is used for pre-polishing precious metals, non-precious metal alloys and model castings, as well as for high-gloss polishing of denture and veneer plastics. At the recommended speed of 1.400 rpm, the polishing pad achieves clean, even and streak-free results. It is suitable for use in dental technology, dental practices and the jewellery industry.

Use case

The muslin polishing buffer is designed for the mechanical pre-polishing of precious metal, non-precious metal and model casting surfaces, as well as for the high-gloss polishing of plastic surfaces. For plastics, the polishing pad is used for the final high-gloss polishing. It is suitable for use in dental laboratories, dental practices and jewellery workshops where both powerful metal pre-polishing and gentle plastic high-gloss polishing are required.

Application

The muslin polishing buffer is clamped into a hand or table polishing motor and used at a speed of up to 1.400 rpm. An appropriately abrasive pre-polishing paste is used for pre-polishing precious metal, non-precious metal and model casting surfaces. For high-gloss polishing of plastic surfaces, the buffing pad is combined with a fine polishing paste or high-gloss emulsion. The surface is treated with even, light pressure.
