The mounted cotton polishing buffer Becht pro medix is a finely structured polisher for high-gloss finishing of numerous dental materials. The densely woven cotton material ensures even, flat polishing and is particularly suitable for fine polishing work on small surfaces, edges and contours – ideal for ceramic, composite, plastic, precious metal, non-precious metal and model cast restorations. The pre-mounted metal shaft ensures smooth, low-vibration operation and precise guidance in hand or micromotors.

Use case

The mounted cotton polishing buffer Becht pro medix is designed for the final and high-gloss polishing of ceramic, composite, plastic, precious metal, non-precious metal and model casting surfaces. It is used as the final polishing step after pre-polishing and fine polishing and ensures a smooth, shiny and aesthetically high-quality surface on restorative workpieces.

Application

The cotton polishing buffer is clamped into a hand or micro motor and used at 5,000–10,000 rpm. The surface is treated with even, light pressure until the desired high gloss is achieved. For optimal results, the polishing pad can be combined with high-gloss emulsion or fine polishing agents.
