The mounted horsehair brush from Becht pro medix is a versatile polishing instrument for dental practices and laboratories. The medium-hard, natural horsehair is suitable for pre-polishing and high-gloss polishing of a wide variety of dental materials. It is used in particular for working on plastics, composites, ceramics, precious metals, non-precious metals and model castings. The precisely centred mounting on the mandrel ensures smooth running and enables safe, controlled working – ideal for speeds of up to 16,000 rpm.

Use case

The mounted horsehair brush from Becht pro medix is designed for use in polishing and finishing dental materials. It is used to gently smooth and polish the surfaces of plastic, composite, metal or ceramic restorations in the laboratory or on the patient. The medium hardness of the bristles makes it particularly suitable for polishing work with higher material removal without affecting the shape or structure of the workpiece.

Application

The mounted wheel brush is inserted into a hand or micro motor with a suitable chuck. At a maximum of 16.000 rpm with light pressure, the surface of the workpiece to be polished is treated with circular movements until an even shine is achieved. If necessary, Becht pro medix polishing emulsion can be applied.
