Ready-to-use solution for disinfecting and cleaning surgical and rotating instruments for safe reprocessing in everyday medical practice. The aldehyde- and phenol-free formulation offers excellent material compatibility, safety and cost-effectiveness.

The ready-to-use Bechtol S plus solution is used for disinfecting and cleaning reusable surgical and rotary instruments in medical settings, particularly in the context of manual instrument reprocessing.

Place surgical and/or rotating instruments in the Bechtol S plus bath immediately after treatment. Clean heavily soiled instruments first with warm water and a soft brush. Wet completely. Avoid blistering. Observe minimum exposure times. Then remove and rinse thoroughly four times with clear, running water. Dry with a clean cloth.

Place the lid on before using in the ultrasonic bath. Only remove the lid after cleaning and cooling. Replace the used solution daily (RKI guidelines). Replace immediately if visible soiling/contamination is present. Becht opal glass milling containers with sieve insert and slotted lid REF 630 and REF 631 are particularly suitable as cleaning containers. Observe the instrument manufacturer's restrictions on use. Sterilise in accordance with RKI guidelines. Product not suitable for use with nerve needles.

IF SWALLOWED: Rinse mouth. Do NOT induce vomiting. If you feel unwell, call a POISON INFORMATION CENTRE or doctor.

IF ON SKIN (or hair): Take off immediately all contaminated clothing. Rinse skin with water/shower. Wash contaminated clothing before reuse.

IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for at least 15 minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing.

The batch number (LOT) should be specified in every process that requires identification of the product.
