After preparing and drying the root canal, a precisely fitting filling is inserted during obturation. Together with a suitable sealer, the guttapercha points ensure a tight seal of the root canal and provide a reliable basis for long-term preservation of the tooth. Thanks to the ISO-standard sorted and color-coded sizes, the appropriate thickness can be selected.

Guttapercha points are used in endodontics as a material for permanent obturation of root canals. They are usually used in combination with a sealer to seal the root canal tightly and support the long-term success of the treatment.
